Xbox 360 Faceplates
The Xbox 360 has a variety of faceplates you can choose from. Most of them are made to fit a kind of style or to have a look that will allow the Xbox 360 to blend in with it's environment. And then there are some made with designs that fit to particular Xbox 360 games. Faceplates are easy to remove and replace. Be careful, however, with how much pressure you apply. The power button and USB protective covers have a nasty tendency to catch on something and break. The USB protective cover isn't so bad, but when the power button goes, you have to get a whole new faceplate. That isn't much of a problem however, most faceplates run anywhere from ten to twenty dollars. Buying new faceplates is a great way to change up the style of your Xbox 360. It can give an impression of what style of games you like. I recommend buying faceplates made by Microsoft, because some of the off-brand products don't tend to hold up for more than two weeks. Although they are cheaper, you'll see them break on you for no reason sometimes. I have had power buttons fall off after only a few hours of putting an off-brand faceplate on my Xbox 360. I don't know this for fact, but I have heard that you can also have a custom faceplate commissioned, although I would think it would be expensive. You may want to search the net for that option.You could design a faceplate to match your entertainment center, cell-phone, or yourself.
